Hon. Director of JP presented a paper about the above subject, in a conference. Which was organised by "Mahindra International Univ." , Pune.
In 1972, a conference was held at Stockholm in
which the world community of scientists made the world aware of
the approaching environmental crisis. During the subsequent
twenty years, the awareness of the delicateness of the
environment went on increasing, and the intricate connection of
the world civilization with the environment became more and more
apparent. In 1992, at the Rio de Janeiro conference, which was a
world summit, all the governments of the world promised each
other to preserve the biodiversity. Each and every species of the
plant and animal kingdom is intricately connected with all other
species including human beings. Preservation of biodiversity is
now felt as essential for the preservation of the human
civilization. This awareness has come after a hundred years of
exploitation of the world's natural resources.

India is an ancient culture spread over a vast country. A large
variety of religious systems have evolved in India. The process
of experimentation in religion along different directions and
consolidation of the common themes therein has been
simultaneously going on for thousands of years. The first
discovery in this process was that, though the spirtual ideal is
one it is revealed differently to each individual because of the
psychodiversity. The Indians went so far in this consolidation
that it was stated that the spiritual ideal is uniquely
discovered by each person in a manner appropriate to his or her
mental make-up. After admitting the uniqueness of form of
indiviual ideals, the Indians went on further to classify these
ideals in four general groups - the first group was that of
symbol worship (including images, totems, books, etc.), the
second group was that of worship of incarnations (and also
prophets, angels, son of God, etc.) the third group was that of
worship of the psychic being within each person and the fourth
group that of the worship of the Immutable Substratum of all
Existence.
